Q: What's the difference between UVA and UVB?

UVA penetrates the skin deeper, so it takes longer for the color to develop, but it lasts longer, whereas UVB color is more instant because it penetrates the most outer layers of skin but fades quicker. UVA produces a more brown color where as UVB produces a reddish color. UVB stimulates the melanin process and the UVA oxidizes the melanin.

Q:What do the Facials do

The facial plates offer more concentration on the face and are all UVA. Therefor the color on your face will last longer and the likelihood of burning the face is significantly decreased. The Solar System also has the option of turning them off for those clients who don’t want to tan their faces.
